Hi,

since there is a problem with the root subversion repository and one cannot get the complete external packages I build a tar archive which contains the needed source code can be downloaded from the following location

http://cbmroot.gsi.de/download/jan12/fairsoft_jan12.tar.gz

Best is to use the following command to get it

wget http://cbmroot.gsi.de/download/jan12/fairsoft_jan12.tar.gz

One needs an internet connection for the installation since the Geant4 data files are loaded during the installation process.
