Hi Mohammad,

thx for your reply. Yes thats exactly what I did, hence my reply to post their answer to my question. That was just in case someone else had similar questions and would hit my thread, it would actually help a bit. Otherwise it would have been just an unanswered post. Smile

The solution of using a 64bit login node was clear to form the get go. It was just weird to me why the wiki pages recommend to use lxi001 if one can't work on the cluster with that node. On other clusters I'm used to have some kind of globally accessible dir (afs, nfs etc.), but I wasnt able to find them here... Anyways I'm working on the HIMSTER in Mainz now, so the GSI cluster is not needed atm.
