Hi,
first of all, gridka is "Grid Computing Centre Karlsruhe"... maybe you mean "grid".
The way could be, in your shell script, to move the filename in something you can use, i.e.:

mv evt_points_*.root evt_points_stt_evt.root

I am using this for my analysis.
