svn: Can't open file '/u/dkang/GSI/.svn/entries': No such file or directory

It seems the problem is coming from your folder. Are you sure you have not messed up something with cmake? In theory the code should not be searched inside /u/dkang/GSI but in /u/dkang/GSI/pandaroot

Or maybe the problem stays in the symbolic link.
