hi again,
maybe one can make use of the information
of the de/dx in the low momentum region, namely by parameterizing the momentum dependence on the mean value of de/dx via a polynomial
and replace the momentum of the track candidate
by the corresponding value obtained via de/dx(p) = Polyn(p).
