Hello,
DIM is a communication system for distributed / mixed environments. It provides a network transparent inter-process communication layer and is a light protocol with high performance based on TCP/IP. DIM has been developed at CERN and is available for Linux, Unix, Linux, Windows, OS9, LynxOS and VxWorks. Available interfaces are Fortran, C and C++. I have developed a DIM interface of LabVIEW that is based on the official DIM distribution. By this, LabVIEW can be linked to all platforms supported by DIM.
The LabVIEW interface is available under the terms of the GPL. It can be downloaded from http://www-w2k.gsi.de/labview/driver.htm#Communication%20Drivers.
