Hello everybody,

I report on the behalf of our new master student from Torino.
To me it seems that there is a discrepancy in the naming of the architecture. Did anyone encounter that before? Solutions?

Kind regards, Ralf.

Dear Ralf,

As I told you yesterday I got problems while installing the external packages. My machine is a Apple MacBook with Intel processors.
My OS is: Mac OS X 10.4.11 (32 bit)

When I run the configure script it stops while working on boost_1_35 with the following error. I forward to you the last lines so maybe you can get more informations.

[MKDIR] bin.macosxx86
[COMPILE] bin.macosxx86/bjam
...updated 2 targets...
cp: bin.macosx/bjam: No such file or directory
*** ERROR: Boostjam could not be created.
*** End installation of external packages with Errors***/

I really don't know what to do. Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Simone
