Hi Elisa

You should start again from scratch with a clean version of the external packages. In the following part of your mail you can see that you have chosen "Optimize" in the
menu. This one was only tested with some PCs at GSI, so this is most probable a copy&paste error. Maybe in the next version of the externl packages this will work.

-O3 -march=pentium4 -m64 -c soapC.cpp -MT soapC.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/soapC.TPlo -fno-common -DPIC -o .libs/soapC.o
soapC.cpp:1: error: CPU you selected does not support x86-64 instruction set
soapC.cpp:1: error: CPU you selected does not support x86-64 instruction set
make[1]: *** [soapC.lo] Error 1

Either you change the optimization flags to the correct flags for Mac OS X in the set.compiler.sh script or you run the installation from scratch choosing "No Debug Info" or "Debug Info" the menu. In both cases you should start with a clean unpack of the external packages.

Ciao

Florian
