Maybe the lines:

TFile* fsim = new TFile("sim_emc.root");
TTree *tsim=(TTree *) fsim->Get("cbmsim");
PndEmcMapper *emcMap=PndEmcMapper::Instance(1);

could help. I had a similar prolem, and I solved it in this way.
