Dear PandaRoot developers,
To create a new software package version (instead of "feb11"), please tell Mohammad and Johan when _everything_ is ready, so that they can create the new tarball.
Please check everything beforehand, as to avoid re-installing and doing debugging work on the Grid, both counterproductive.
The improved postinstall scripts from
http://panda-wiki.gsi.de/cgi-bin/view/Computing/DataChallenge4
should be used in conjunction with the tarball, after editing the messages to correspond with the new version name.
Please give attention to how you handle stdout, stderr, and exit codes to be relevant, because no one wants to babysit the installations.
Check status here http://mlr2.gla.ac.uk/packages/list.jsp in due time.
