My Fírefox tells me that the certificate of the FairRoot redmine is not trusted (see screen log attached). Can this be cured?

Yes, if we get a valid certificate. I know that GSI can create certificates. If they are excepted by your browser I don't know. I can try to discuss this with our IT experts.
