Hi,

did you setup the environment correctly? This is done by running the following command to execute a script in your build directory.

source <build_dir>/config.sh

<build_dir> has to be changed to your build directory.

Ciao

Can you please identify the macro which doesn't work. Can you please give some more information about your system (OS, compiler, ...).
without this information it is hard to guess what could be the problem.

Ciao

Dear Ciao,
The error I have shown is for Tutorial1. I am using Ubuntu 14.04.1 32 machine. The external package installation log file is attached here, where you can get other details of my system.

Hello.

I can confirm this behaviour on 32 bit Ubuntu 12.04.05 LTS. GCC version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5)

I installed new external packages fairroot jul14p3 + pandaroot (trunk) following the procedure from https://panda-wiki.gsi.de/foswiki/bin/view/Computing/PandaRootInstallGit.

Installation itself went without any problems. But if i try to run any sim macro: /run/sim_complete.C or /emc/sim_emc.C I've got exactly the same problem Kamal Dutta mentioned.

I have installed prevoius version of Fairroot (dec13) and pandaroots (23950 trunk and jan14 release) it works without problems.

Please give me a hint how to solve this issue.

Thank you.
