Hello Alexandros,

I experienced some problems with vertex resolution and loss of efficiency, too, recently, in the analysis of the Ds mesons, which I am working on.
I had used the trunk rev 25345.

Due to some geometry update, apparently it looks there was a bug in that trunk revision. Now I updated my trunk to the rev 25545, as Stefano suggested some days ago; and it looks much better.
This is maybe the problem that you found(?)

Talk to you later, Elisabetta
