Hi Klaus,

As Roland pointed out, resolution of pi0 candidates are a little bit different between full and fast sim.
I am trying to decrease my resolution of pi0 via some parameters in EMC.
I assume that the resolution of photon with EMC can be controlled by 4 dedicated values.
Quote:

_aPar=4.52495e-3;
_bPar=2.9539e-3;
_cPar=7.7596e-3;
_resFactor = 0.25;

Are there other sophistcated options in the EMC part, which I have to care for the resolution of neutral candidate?

Best wishes,
Donghee

Hi Donghee,

indeed the EMC is parametrized by this set of parameters. Best is to take a look what kind of function it is and check the shape before you modify the parameters. Concerning the angular resolution in theta and phi, there is also a resolution factor (motivated geometrically) called resFactor, which is set to 0.25 as default. This could be increased as well to worsen the resolution.

Best,
Klaus
