Hi Stefano,

Alaa reported that mar14 release and release version in last year have some differences in the tracking level.
He showed that the acceptance cos(theta) 20 degree region drop down significantly with mar14 release.

I am wondering which version we have to use to produce full MC simulation at this moment.
I can use in principle jan14 for full simulation but this is downgrade.
I don't want to go back for full simulation, because there are many updated stuff in PID and geometry between jan14 and mar14.
In thoery, trunk version can be used right now or better to wait couple of days.

For the moment I suggest mar14 or better scrut14 if you need updates in the analysis.

Hi Stefano,

I am taking about "full" simulation.
Mar14 and Scrut14 are more or less same specailly for the "full" simulation.

If mar14 has such acceptance drop, then scrut14 should have same behaviour in "full" simulation.
I will ask to Alaa, whether acceptance is same with scrut14 or disappear.

The drop appeared betwen nov12 and apr13. This means that at present you have to live with it.
