Dear Wiki users,

on Wednesday, 2014-02-05, and Thursday, 2014-02-06, we will switch Wiki versions.

* On Wednesday, cbm-wiki.gsi.de, hades-wiki.gsi.de and panda-wiki.gsi.de will be migrated.
* On Thursday, wiki.gsi.de, alice-wiki.gsi.de and nustar-wiki.gsi.de will follow.

There are a few changes w.r.t. the old Wiki:

* Webs that need authentication are not visible before authentication.
* The layout has changed somewhat.
* Default editor is a WYSIWYG editor (not operable with IE).

The Wiki services will be offline for a short while during this transition.

We apologize for the inconveniences.

Dear colleagues,

The PANDA Wiki has moved to a newer platform FOSWIKI and is now again available world wide at the usual location

http://panda-wiki.gsi.de/cgi-bin/view

At first look you will only see open pages. To see all pages you have to login with your Wiki account on the top left. The credentials are the same as before.

The newer software has a WYSIWYG editor, If you want to use the old style editor you should edit your own page with the "Edit Wiki Text" option and add

<!--
* Set NOWYSIWYG = 1
-->

on that page.

Please tell me in case of other problems.

Best regards,

Lars

I do not seem to receive any emails for subscribed topics ever since the move to the new forum, maybe even longer. I tried to unsubscribe and subscribe again. That did not help. I checked my email address and it seems to be correct. (It is not a GSI address.)

Does anybody experience the same problem. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi.

Actually I reported that issue to the GSI linux group and I was told the "feature" of smart notifications (i.e. only if you subscribe to and have posted in a topic) is switched off. Did not work out, as it seems.

Hi Ralf,

I have just received the first email notification. Maybe it has just been fixed!

Best wishes,
Martin
