Hi all,

I think that is the moment that we were all afraid of: our version of genfit is gone! (1 week before the CHARM conference, great timing ...)

please, help!

I have seen the same thing yesterday, I hope it is something temporary.
However, in svn you should have a copy then the missing genfit update should not harm your already existing installation... If you want to do a new checkout then it is a problem.
I will try to see what happened.

Hi Stefano,

this must be a sourceforge problem. The externals definied in the repository are

https://genfit.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/genfit/trunk/core

https://vgm.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/vgm/tags/v3-06/vgm

Somehow it looks like sourceforge changed there svn repositories.

If you visit the genfit project page at sourceforge.net and get the information about the svn repository from there you get the following link

http://svn.code.sf.net/p/genfit/code/trunk

which is the link you also get as error message. The easiest solution is to change the externals for genfit and vgm in the repository and the problem should be gone.

If you do for example a

svn ls https://svn.code.sf.net/p/genfit/code/trunk/core

you see the expected list of files.

Ciao

Florian

I fixed the pandaroot repository.
Of course I cannot fix the vgm link in the externals, could you (Florian) do it?

I fixed the externals also in some branches of the fairsoft repository. I fixed only the last two releases (sep12, apr13) and the trunk.

Ciao

Florian
