New FwEndCap geometry implemented [message #12544]

Dear all,

An updated version of the forward endcap is now uploaded with the geometry root file named as "emc_module3_2011_new.root".
This root file would be made in the /geometry folder using the code "createRootGeoFileFwEndCap_2011.C" available in pandaroot/macro/emc/FwEndCap2011
The new geometry contains subunits (comprising 16 crystals) and half subunits (comprising 8 crystals) as well as the Alveoles containing the crystal packages.

which EMC version number and mapper should be used, in order to have such updated geometryvin the reconstruction?

Hi

The geometry version 19 would include the Barrel, BwEndCap, and the new FwEndCap. Version 8 would use only the FwEndCap.
As for the mapping version, I have only implemented the mapping under the case number 6, namely PndEmcMapperGeo125Dat34Root!
