Dear all,

I created an "august11" pandaroot release which is presently a copy of trunk revision 12933 with genfit and RKTrackRep r370.... The software is also installed on the GRID.

Hi,

From the grid job status I see that the jobs finish with errors.

Without looking into the log I still suspect that updated version of mdt was used in the simulation but the macros were not updated.

I have just updated eta_c macros accordingly.
So the jobs have to be resubmited with corrected macros.

The following mdt code should be inside simulation macros:

  PndMdt *Muo = new PndMdt("MDT",kTRUE);
  Muo->SetMdtMagnet(kTRUE);
//  Muo->SetMdtMFIron(kFALSE);
  Muo->SetMdtCoil(kTRUE);

  Muo->SetBarrel("muon_TS_barrel_strip_v1_noGeo.root");
  Muo->SetEndcap("muon_TS_endcap_strip_v1_noGeo.root");
  Muo->SetForward("muon_Forward_strip_v1_noGeo.root");
  Muo->SetMuonFilter("muon_MuonFilter_strip_v1_noGeo.root");

  fRun->AddModule(Muo);

August11 release has been updated:

1) tpc/tpcreco now according to trunk rev. 13282
2) tdrtc macros updated according to trunk rev. 13287

This version is presently being installed on Grid as a replacement of the previous package.

New llbar runs for TPC were just sent, with the new august11 and with minimum number of mvd/gem hits set to 0, as requested by TPC experts.
Also new STT llbar runs were sent, with july11o (new geometry) and storing all the output files as requested by Lia.

The august11 release has been updated for tpc and genfit folders, according to:

trunk/tpc revision 13305
trunk/tpc/tpcreco revision 13305
trunk/genfit revision 400
trun/GenfitTools/trackrep revision 400

This version will soon be installed on the grid and replace package pandaroot::august11.

The august11 release has been updated for STT reco code from Lia and Gianluigi, namely:

- stt/PndSttTrackFinderReal(.cxx/.h) from trunk rev. 13315
- sttmvdtracking/PndSttMvdTracking(.cxx/.h) from trunk rev. 13315
- sttmvdtracking/PndSecondaryTrackFinder(.cxx/.h) from trunk rev. 13247

This version is NOT installed on the GRID yet. We will notify when this happens.

Few jobs were sent for the stt mixing, 100 signal events for each channel.
The mc propagation should not work yet, but it would be good to check some distributions w/o mc selections to understand if the reconstruction is properly working or not.

another bug fix in detector ID in stt/PndSttTrackFinderReal.h for august11 release. Hence:

- update PndSttTrackFinderReal.h from rev 13341

This version is presently being installed on Grid (compilation in progress...)
