On request, I created a july11 release of pandaroot that is based on trunk revision 12718. This new release is also available on Grid.

July11 is updated with a bugfix in extrapolation of negative particles (pid/PidCorr/PndPidCorrelator.cxx), rev. 12725

This new version is presently being installed on all the grid sites.

Dear all,

The july11 release has been updated for the STT reconstruction. It now includes the cleanup stuff from Gianluigi with other small bug fixes. The following files have been updated to trunk revision 13109:

stt/PndSttTrackFinderReal.cxx
stt/PndSttTrackFinderReal.h

sttmvdtracking/PndSttMvdTracking.cxx
sttmvdtracking/PndSttMvdTracking.h

This version will be used on the GRID for the STT physics analysis once the Grid is up again. Note that the TPC analysis will be based on the august11 release (no updates planned for the next grid runs).

Dear all,

The updated july11 release is now installed on the Grid. Please be aware, that it does NOT include the modifications with PndEvtGenDirect... the seed has to be supplied explicitly in the constructor call.

FYI.... all the jobs are finished, which means we have new simulated data for the STT (july11, w/o cleanup) and TPC (august11) ready.

A minor update was made on PndSttMvdTracking code concerning the cleanup part by Gianluigi according to trunk revision 13179. This version is now also installed on the grid.

I have just submitted STT jobs with STT cleanup ON (run 9X4cu).
The analysists should compare the results of the runs w/ and w/o cleanup.

Sorry for the question, but the analysist should compare the runs 904 and 904c for example, for the STT? This means without and with the cleanup respectively?

I have just committed a new version of the tpc/tpcrecpo/PndTpcMVDCorrelatorTask

If there is time for another run it would be good to test results also with the new version of the tpc and tpc/tpcreco folders.

For completeness, I also run the STT simulations using the older july11 release (so without the latest updates of Gianluigi, but with proper random seed to EvtGen) on the GRID. This was the wish of Dima. The simulations for the etac channel are ready, the rest still crunching. The runs are labelled with "9X4oldnocu".... More details on:

Dear all,

The july11 release has been updated with the following two changes:

1) update of STT geometry (bug fix in material budget)
2) went back to the old stt/sttmvdtracking code before the latest changes of Gianluigi that caused a loss in efficiency.

This version has been updated on the grid and the package is called "pandaroot::july11o"
