Dear EMC crew,

which geometry do I have to load if I want to get barrel and the endcaps? I tried (from macro/emc/)

Emc->SetGeometryVersion(15);
//new BwEndCap + FwEndCap
Emc->SetGeometryFileNameTriple("emc_module125.dat","emc_module3new.root","em
c_module4_StraightGeo24.4.root");

but I still get only the barrel in the viewer, and also in the list of volumes I don't find the endcap crystals.

Cheers
Olaf.

Hi,
in theory the line with "15" should be enough (check amcro/pid/run_sim_XXX.C). The SetGeometryFiloeNames(XXX) is obsolete and can be removed.

To see EMC you should set a higher visibility level of the TGeoManager -> FAIRGeom->SetVisLevel(10). You can do it easily by TBrowser.

Hope it helps.
