Dear EMC developers/users,
I have updated the macros sim_emc.C and full_emc.C, so that from now the EmcHitProducer is inside the simulation part and not in the digitization anymore.

I have checked the gain in disk space.

I have run 1000 photons at 1GeV, with full barrel setup.
The followings are the values of file size:

EMC point+hit  36M
EMC only hit    5M

The gain is quite important, I would say.
Slowly all the macros should use this scheme.
