Hello everyone,

I'd like to set up a meeting at GSI so the developers concerned with tracking have a working platform.
The tentative agenda point is Track Merging. This point was roughly discussed several times but no concrete implementation is done so far.

I propose to capture a time slot in parallel to the coordination and technical board meetings on Wednesday morning, where space for tutorials was kept free. Maybe Johan may comment on that.

Please give your input here and tell if you want to attend.

Kind regards, Ralf.

Dear Ralf,

That could indeed be arranged. If there is interest (which I guess there is...), I will reserve the spot with Lars...

Greetings,

Johan.

Hi,

I will not be able to make it to the December meeting due to other obligations. Anyways, I dont have much to contribute on track merging. I never thought about how it should be done. I just think that the outcome of it has to be a new track candidate which contains the hits of the merged tracks in a sorted way. But that point is obvious, right?

Cheers, Christian

Hi all,

unfortunatly this slot on Wednesday morning 9-10.30h is already occupied with an EPICS Tutorial held by Dan I believe.

Since there is no Computing Tutorial planned up to now, the slots parallel to TB are still available. Alternatively on thursday there are rooms available, and of course on friday.

Best regards,
Klaus

I think most of the tracking developers will not be envolved in EPICS. Isn't it?

Hi,

ah, sorry, I thought the crucial point was there wouldn't be any rooms available anymore, but I just saw that there is one left. So when you prefer that slot it should be possible.

Best regards,

Klaus

Hi Klaus,

Could you reserve this spot (before it is gone)?

Thanks,

Johan.
