Dear Colleagues,
the PANDA collaboration meeting in Ferrara is approaching. The PID subgroup
meeting is this year the
Cherenkov Brainstorming workshop (Tuesday and Wednesday from 14:30-18:30)
and the
PID-TOF subgroup meeting. (About 1 hour within the time of the Cherenkov workshop)
*** The Cherenkov workshop *** has the topics
Prototyping / Detector tests
Test beams
Pattern recognition
Up to now there are 4 talks from GSI and 2 talks from Giessen
If you would like to make a presentation, please provide me with a title
and the requested amount of time for your talk.
*** The PID-TOF part ***
gives us the opportunity to learn something about "Relative Timing".
Here Stefano Spataro and Aida Galoyan will give presentations. For this part also:
If you would like to make a presentation, please provide me with a title
and the requested amount of time for your talk.
We are aware that the Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon is parallel to other events.
At Wednesday is the Technical Board. The Technical Coordinator promised nothing to
discuss about Cherenkov detectors, and if discussion is needed, they come to us.
Since the "Relative Timing" is also interesting for other people, the PID-TOF will be
Tuesday.
This notification comes partly by email. The usual communication takes place via the
forum at http://forum.gsi.de/
See you in Ferrara
