I propose using this wiki page as documentation of the vmplayer tests:
http://panda-wiki.gsi.de/cgi-bin/viewauth/Computing/VmPlayer
Could I ask the parties involved to document as much as possible there ? Links, installation and testing procedure, results etc.

Hi,

Something I learned from Arek Bubak.

An alternative for vmplayer (and really for free)

http://www.virtualbox.org/

with a comparison with vmware:

Johan.
