Dear all,
Additionally to the fast kaon trigger requirements.
I would like to know which detector will be able to be
used for the detection of low momentum kaons(about 500 MeV).

thank you in advance

Alicia S.

Hi,

this is the domain of the dE/dx measurement with the TPC. I think you should be able to find some information in the TPR.

Ciao, Christian

Hi Alicia!

The TPC should be able to provide a good id for slow kaons via dE/dx.

Cheers! Sebastian.

Hi,

For detection of low momentum kaons,
TOF also can be used (of course, after implementation in
PandaRoot).
