Hi!

The functionality of BETA is documented in the BaBar Workbook.
Hint: Try all the links! Even if they are named the same they sometimes lead to different information!

This should clarify most of the questions about what BETA can do.

Concerning the chances for porting BETA: have a look at BtaCandidate.hh in the Beta candidate section of the working book and draw your own conclusions.

Hi!

Just a note for the logbook:

In my understanding there is one central point in the functionality of the Simple Composition Tools which has been (almost) missing in our discussions so far:

With Simple Compositions you do not need to compile your analysis code anymore! (almost) Everything can be done with a few simple script lines.
