Dear all,

Is there an effort to combine LHEtracking with GEM device?
I'm now using GEM in my MC study, all macros for sim, digi, reco seem very stable. but I'm not sure about analysis level for GEM, simply I didn't check GEM classes.
If there are a possiblity to use a global tracking like LHEtracking package with GEM, it would be really nice.
If GEM is planed to use only in forward tracking,
when can I use forecoming package? Could you give me a time line?

I think that LHEtracking is not optimal tools for forward tracking, therefore I'm looking for other forward tracking methods.

Thank you!

Hi,
LHETRACK is only for central tracking, it is not designed for forward angles.
There could be some plans to match tracks together with GEM hits, I have some ideas about, but at the moment nobody is working on it, then I cannot give you a timelime.
If somebody is interested, I could give some helps, but right now I have no time to do this development alone.
