pandaroot not compiling at gsi [message #5449]

Hello!

I just wanted to compile a pandaroot at gsi machine (lxi009)
and I got such error:

[ 94%] Generating LHETrackDict.cxx, LHETrackDict.h
Error: cannot open file "TpcPoint.h" /d/panda02/abiegun/pandaroot/lhetrack/TpcLheHit.h:19:
Syntax error /d/panda02/abiegun/pandaroot/lhetrack/TpcLheHit.h:36:
Warning: Error occurred during reading source files
Warning: Error occurred during dictionary source generation

Is is possible to fix it, please?

Hello,

The tpc classes have been renamed today to make them fit for the new naming conventions.

Try updating the tpc/ and the recotask/ folders. (See my post in the general section)

I hope this fixes it.

Hi Felix,

I updated (just 2 minutes ago) the pandaroot software
and I can't see anything new about tpc.

Are you sure that you have sent to svn your correction?

Hi,
the problem is that lhetrack is using TpcPoint, so the code should be changed there.
For the moment just comment out lhetrack from the main compilation, tomorrow morning I will fix it.

Hi Stefano,

you can use the macro I supplied (see thread in the general section) if you want to fix any connections to Tpc classes... It is nothing more than the sed command that was used to fix the Tpc classes after the renaming.
