The second workshop \Connecting the Dots" is a follow-up to the first successful workshop in Berkeley in February 2015. The primary topic of the series is pattern recognition in sparsely sampled data. The workshop is intended to be inclusive across other disciplines wherever similar problems arise. The main focus this year will be on pattern recognition and machine learning problems that arise in the reconstruction of particle tracks and in track triggers in high energy physics experiments. Both hardware and software aspects will be addressed.

Please note that for reasons of space the attendance is limited to about 65 persons. There will be no conference fee, but we will ask non-student participants for a contribution in cash to the workshop dinner.
