Dear all,
starting from fairbase/trunk/geane rev 19464, the FairGeanePro class contains a flag (bool fPrintErrors) to switch the verbosity of GEANE on/off.
It can be set by FairGeanePro::SetPrintErrors(bool) and by default it is "true". When set to "false" all the "ABORT" messages from GEANE are not printed anymore.
Stefano took care of changing the most used tasks (i.e. the Kalman filter, the pid stuff and the GEM extension of the PR) in order to adapt the verbosity of GEANE to the verbosity of the task. I mean, to be clear, he set:
if (fVerbose==0) fPro->SetPrintErrors(kFALSE);
If you want to switch the error messages back on you just have to play with the verbosity of the tasks.
The current pandaroot is linked to the trunk version of geane, so you just need to make an svn update of pandaroot to get these changes.
Cheers,
Lia.
