HI,

nice talks, only one remark, both of you forget Denis Bertini in the slide about FairRoot!

Please add him.

Cheers,
Mohammad

Dear Stefano,

just one remark: Under point 3, you write:

Quote:

In PandaRoot global tracking is achieved by using the Kalman Filter GENFIT[6]

GENFIT is not a Kalman filter, but much more. It also includes the whole infrastructure needed for global tracking (e.g. unifies different hit topologies used in different detectors), handles the energy loss while propagating through material (as you mention), ...
I think this should be rephrased, probably you can find some good buzzwords in the NIM publication that you already cited.

Cheers

Felix

Hi,

I would simply rephrase it like:

Quote:

In PandaRoot global tracking is achieved by using GENFIT package[6]

and who ever interested should go to the reference and find out what is that.

regards,

Mohammad
