Dear all,
this weekend we have started to run simulation and digitization jobs for the background events, i.e. DPM @ 3.6772 GeV/c (eta_c), 4.0 GeV(c (npipi, llbar), 6.5788 GeV/c (D+D-), 2 Millions events for each momentum value and for each detector concept (stt, tpc) -> 12 Mevents.
Almost (>90%) all the jobs have run successfully, you can find further informations in wiki. I would like to ask to tracking expert to take a look, if everything is fine.
Now we are trying to understand possible reasons of the failed jobs.
Next steps will be:
- Production of evtgen events with "standard" reconstruction chain
- Production of mixed evtgen events with "final" reconstruction code
I want to start the first point as soon as possible.
The digitization code will not be touched anymore. We wait for the final OK or tracking and event mixing.
