Hi

I have a question. Consider the following situations.

i) I generate 10,000 J/Psi events at a time.
ii) I generate 1,000 J/Psi events for 10 times.

Now the question is whether the two situtations are equivalent or not ? My computer is not able to generate more than 3000 events so can i adopt the procedure in sit. ii).

What do you mean with "equivalent"? The events won't be exactly the same, because of the random seed, but for the analysis it does not change the results.
