Dear collegues,

I have seen that some correction files under /macro/param/
electron_en_th_corr_TGeant3.root
electron_en_th_corr_TGeant4.root
and also exist for gamma and other.

Are they related shashlyk FWD EMC?
What stands for?

Hi Donghee,

those files
electron_en_th_corr_TGeant3.root
electron_en_th_corr_TGeant4.root

containes energy-position corrections for both target EMC and shashlyk forward EMC.

But the files existing in svn,
i.e. gamma_en_th_corr_TGeant3.root, electron_en_th_corr_TGeant3.root
contain correction only for gamma and version for electron is simple copy of version for gamma.

for details how to use them (particularly in macro /macro/emc/dedicated/emc_complete_corr.C).

Recently I added new class
EmcCorr/PndEmcClusterCalibrator.cxx
to use correction in parralel with parametrized corrections
and some related macros to calculate them in
/macro/emc/dedicated/EnergyPosCorrection
but this work is still in progress.
