Dear all,
during the last collaboration meeting Thomas showed the new geometry implemented for the MVD. Let me remind you that we have now four different versions:
MVD
Mvd-2.1_FullVersion.root
Mvd-2.1_Sensitive.root
MVD + Additional Disks
Mvd-2.1_AddDisks_FullVersion.root
Mvd-2.1_AddDisks_Sensitive.root
In both cases the "_Sensitive.root" definition is including only the silicon components.
I performed a short test in order to understand the impact of the "full version" geometry on the duration of the simulations.
As a benchmark I used macro/run/sim_complete_tpc running simulating 1000 events. These are the results:

MVD_v1.0_woPassiveTraps.root 229 s 212 s
Mvd-2.1_Sensitive.root 234 s 223 s
Mvd-2.1_FullVersion.root 327 s 309 s
