Hi pandarooters,
I have a question on the definition of a mixture in media_pnd.geo.

To define a mixture you can use two ways:
1) give the number of atoms,
2) give the percentages of each element.

Concerning the second option, the WMAT values which indicate these percentages should be "weights WMAT of each component in a mixture".

My question is: shouldn' t these be the percentages computed on the mass (and not on the volume)? So if you have the composition for a gas by volume percentages, these should be converted to the mass percentages and these last ones must be used as WMAT... is this correct?

I ask this because digging in the code it seems to me that they really must be % on the weigth, but in the media file we often use the % on volume, so I cannot figure out which one is correct...

Thank you in advance,
Lia.
