Dear colleagues,
as discussed two weeks ago, GENFIT has moved to an external repository. In this process I also cleaned up a few remaining inconsistencies in the code. Then also a few days ago there has been a discussion on the forum, where it was decided (at least there were no objections up to now), that all reco hits should go to a common directory to clean up dependencies we are having.
I am doing all the restructuring in the development branch and Mohammad will do the merge when I am done (should take this week). This means that I would like to ask you for a freeze in all the code concerning GENFIT, including all reco hits and track representations, for the next few days.
I will keep you updated about the progress. If you have questions maybe you can also ask tomorrow in the EVO meeting if there is any time, or just here in the forum.
