Dear colleagues,
following some discussions among Rainer, Philippe, Myroslav and me during the PANDA CM at Torino, we felt the need to collect the present ideas on EMC readout developments in a little document and make this available to everybody in the EMC community for further input and discussions.
The best way to initiate discussions and arrive at a commonly accepted solution is to exchange information via the FORUM. Rainer asked me to place the document into the FORUM, but first a new Forum-entry had to be created.
There is now a new entry PANDA EMC available for a general discussion on EMC specific issues.
Please make use of the Forum and contribute to shaping the development plans.
