Dear programmers,
I still try to move from geant4.8.2 to geant4.8.3 on my home system to get the DPM simulation running again. Unfortunately I get the following error when I try to recompile pandaRoot:
/home/stockman/fairroot/cbmsoft/transport/geant4/include/G4ExcitedString .hh:
171: error: conversion from ´const char [66]´ to non-scalar type ´G4String´ requested
and some more of this kind, all complainingn that the conversion from char [] to G4String gives an error.
I hope somebody has an idea what caused this problem.
