Hello everyone

I am wondering if someone can point out the reason why my FairSoft build is failed. I got sources of the recommended versions (for analysis) of FairSoft (may16p1), FairRoot (v-17.10b) and PandaRoot (dec17p2). I have attached a log file as its difficult to describe the problem.

I already have a separate installation of the full PandaROOT framework for developers a few months ago. I didn't get any errors at that time.

Best Regards,
Adeel

Hi,

I am not 100% sure but in my opinion the problem is the new compiler with an old version of ROOT. Would it be possible for you to use a newer version of FairSoft?

Ciao

Florian

Hello

That might be the case. FairSoft (may16p1) is the recommended version (along with versions of FairRoot, PandaRoot) for analysis on PANDA wiki page. If this doesn't work then which version we should choose?

Dear Adeel,

we will change the recommendations with the next PandaRoot release to the latest FairRoot / FairSoft version.
The release is envisaged for mid of December.

Cheers,

Tobias
