Hi all,
the Lustre filesystem Hera (/hera or /SAT/hera) will be shut down by end
of September 2016, cf.
https://wiki.gsi.de/foswiki/bin/view/Linux/GreencubeMigration
The filesystem cannot be restarted after this shutdown to retrieve
forgotten files, because the entire data-center "Minicube" will be
dismantled during October 2016!
Currently we are reducing the interactive access to Hera, leaving only
the pro-ib.hpc.gsi.de boxes (lxsub02-04), and the special copy machines
lxheranyxdm01/02/.../08
This means that e.g. /SAT/hera and all other mount points of
HERA won't be available from 25.08.16 on anymore.
Startgin 19.09.16, Hera will run read-only,
preventing any new-and-to-be-missed files created there.
Please check you remaining data in Hera, possibly delete what you do not
need anymore or transfer the necessary files to Nyx (/lustre/nyx,
kronos.hpc.gsi.de, https://wiki.gsi.de/foswiki/bin/view/Linux/NyxFs).

Prometheus/Hera decommissioning:
Prometheus will be shut down until 30.6.2016.
The Hera decommissioning is scheduled for 30.9.2016.
