Dear all,
I am using Pandaroot version mar15. While generation MC events using the tutorial macros in tutorial/rho , the following error appears for some of the events in the simulation stage,

Error in <TArrayF::At>: index 551452 out of bounds (size: 544960, this: 0x2a099c0)

Is this a serious problem ? What does it mean ?

thanks.

Hi,
if you go in the wiki FAQ: Troubleshooting PandaRoot Running, you can read that:

https://panda-wiki.gsi.de/foswiki/bin/view/Computing/PandaRootFAQ

Quote:
Q: I see many "Error in < TArrayF::At >:" in my simulation. Should I be concerned?

No, you should not. This is a field warning once the index is outside the boundaries of the field grid. It is safe.

Thank you sir. One another issue. Suppose we need 1 million event for a particular decay channel in background study. If we generate 1 million events into two parts separately like 0.5 million each, and then use the two outputs in our analysis to make it 1 million, does it effect on the analysis in any way ?

thanks

There is no difference.
