Time based simulation [message #16442]

Deal all, I was trying to implement DIRC time based simulation. I need the tracking information for each timestamp.
I could run macro/run/timeOrderedSim up to reco. Macro run_tracking_sttcombi_timebased.C is crashing
with the following message.

Any suggestion?

Could you please check if this macro also crashes if you run it event based?

Hi Tobias, I checked with event based simulation and it does crashes.

Now the issue is what is the correct procedure to get the Track info at DIRC?

Hi Tobias, Regarding event base simulation: There is some set of classes like PndPidCorrelator where one can get the trackinfo. at dirc and at that point event based simulations are implemented for dirc after tracking.

Is there similar way for the timebased simulation which I am not aware of?

Dear Kumawat,

please comment out the line with the PndSttTrackFinder and try it again.
Unfortunately there is no time-based STT track finder in PandaRoot. There exist some versions on local disk but unfortunately they were not put into PandaRoot.
