Dear pandaRooters,

I found in a DPM simulation trackIDs with -2 in MCPoints. I am a bit puzzled what this means.

Is this a bug or what does -2 mean?

In which TCA?

Jifeng has seen the same in the EMC points in this forum entry, but it has no meaning. Maybe there is some problem of initialization, but if it appears also in other TCAs then maybe it is inside fairbase stuff (maybe).

Hi Tobias,

I think this is a problem with the filtering of the MC Stack. If I am correct the tracks with id=-2 should disappear if you switch of the filtering of the MC Stack. You can do that be setting the minumum number of points from 1 to 0 in gconfig/g3Config.C

st->SetMinPoints(1); => st->SetMinPoints(0);

Hi Florian,
I tried with my Emc case, and setting min points to 0 now the index seems correct, without negative value.

Please let me know which tag to use in order to have the correct filtering.

I have fixed this problem. Simply the PndStack was not properly filled by SciTil and EMC.
