Hi everybody,
as those who were at the EVO meeting today already know, the new patch for GEANE has been released and inserted in release jan10 of external packages.
Just to remind, it contains the fixes to three different problems:
1. IERR = 3 crash
2. crash for electron tracking pointed out by Stefano
3. missing virtual detector planes pointed out by Christian
Here are the instructions from Mohammad to get the patch applied (jan10 release):
cd $SIMPATH
rm -rf transport/geant3
svn update
./configure.sh
Please apply the patch and report us any problem you might find with it: if no problems appears we will send it to CERN.
