Hi i try to run the geane tutorials
i have add to CMakeList
tutorials/charmtask
tutorials/geane/ex1/plane
tutorials/geane/ex1/GeaneEx

for compilation
but i get these error message

so does any of you how should i add the tutorials directory
in CMakeList in order to be able to run the tutorials macros?

Hello Alicia,
I can help you with the error in the geane tutorial directories.
The tutorial directory, in our case, is meant to collect the
tutorial files that have to be copied to the pandaroot top
directory to be compiled and run: this has to be done for
GeaneEx and for plane, which are new packages.
The directory geometry contains files that must be copied
in your pandaroot-geometry directory, while the directory
macro can be copied anywhere, I suggest you pandaroot/macro/geane.
If you do this, things should compile and run.

Hi Andrea,
it seems that these classses
CbmGeaneTrT
CbmGeaneTrP
CCbmGeaneTrC
CbmGeaneTrK

which are required in GeaneEx are not in in the framework.

so i hvae them commented in GeaneExDefLink.h.

i try to compile it again.

hi Andrea,
finally i managed to compiled the tutorial for geane ex1
by adding two directories plane and GeaneEx to CmakeList in pandaroot.

In GeaneEx/cbmGeanetr.h

I commented Tfile f and Ttree t; which are never called.

In GeaneEx/cbmGeanetr.cxx i included <iostream>

In GeaneExDefLink i commented the lines
CbmGeaneTrT
CbmGeaneTrP
CCbmGeaneTrC
CbmGeaneTrK

and now everything compiles.

Hi Alicia,
I am happy in reading this! Smile

The ...TrP and ...TrK are simply other tasks
that we did not show at the tutorial and are not
important.

Let me know how it goes with the track following!
