GridKa School 2007 at Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe (September 10-14,
2007; http://www.fzk.de/gks07)

GridKa School is a leading summer school on grid computing, offering a
compact one week schedule with a balanced ratio between up-to-date
technology presentations and instructive hands-on tutorials. This year's
focus will be on "Applied Grid Computing".
The talks will cover subjects from "Grid Applications" to "Grid
Security" and grids in industry, from "Trouble Shooting on the Grid" to
"Grid Business Models" and "Sustainability" and much more. The tutorials
include three different middlewares (g-Lite, Globus, Unicore),
middleware-independent access to the grid (g-Eclipse), a high energy
physics toolkit for compute clusters (PROOF), application development
(SAGA) and administrator-oriented courses (virtualization, gLite
installation, dCache installation). In addition, a grid security
workshop for grid administrators will be offered.
You can register for GridKa School at
http://www.fzk.de/gks07/Anmeldung.html.
The school fee is 120 Euro. The number of participants in the hands-on
tutorials is restricted. Details on payments are given on the school
homepage.
