how to do make distclean?

Is make clean enough?

Hi Alicia

There is nothing like distclean in cmake. The way to do it is
to do an out-of-source build in a dedicated build directory which is required in our setup anyway. To make something equivalent to a distclean is to do a rm -rf in the build directory. But be carefull that your are really in the build
directory.
