Dear all,
with the revision 1028 you can get an important upgrade of the DIRC barrel package.
Many thing are changed:
- Geometry: the bar of the DIRC are 2.6 m long as provided by the Panda integration; every side of the barrel is now composed by 8 slabs. Every side contains a mirror in an end and a sort of screen in the other end.
- ProcessHits: at the moment you register the hits only inside this logical screen at the end of the bars.
- Materials: in media_pnd.geo I added some new materials, with particular Cerenkov properties. I needed to do it in order to have the production of Cerenkov cone, and the propagation/reflections of photons long over the slabs.
